I found a recipe for delicious whole grain oatmeal bars and would like to share it! The texture of these bars is similar to that of bread pudding and the only sugar is in the dried fruit and chocolate chips (The boys wanted chocolate in them!). I used dried cranberries and 1/2 c of chocolate chips- I, also, left out the nuts and used Soy milk instead of cow’s milk (due to allergies) They turned out wonderful! I cut them into 2×2 squares, wrapped them in plastic wrap, put them in a baggie, and kept them in the fridge for a quick snack.
